Mr Glinda walks the lanes of old Kyoto, singing inappropriate songs, to show you the way to the laundromat.

What’s down here? Oh, that’ll do.
We're not in Kansas anymore! Glinda and Mr Glinda had our first day in Tokyo. We arrived at our hard-to-find hotel about 2.30am the night before. Tokyo is huge, puzzling and very buzzy. Challenging but fun. We have negotiated the metro system -the trains and tracks are owned by 5 or more different companies, so to use the Seica card on the JR Yamanote line can get a little tricky, especially when hundreds of very determined people are headed staight at you! Happily, one on one the people here are patient and helpful. Luckily Glinda knows the magic words "sumi masen", "kudasai" and "arigato gozaimasu." Otherwise we'd be up shitsu creeko.
